I think the ultimate answer is "happiness" but the difficulty is defining what that means to you.

If you can't imagine what brings you happiness then that just speaks to a lack of life experiences which tells you one thing. You need to get up and do something different than you are now. Doesn't have to be anything specific and you don't have to do it for long. It just has to be something different. Your goal at this stage is to simply go forth and try new things until you find what makes you happy. Hell some people find that proccess itself is the most enjoyable thing.

It really hits home I've just been flowing with the flow and accept what my parents decide, no one can make me stop with the anime though.

I thought that would end when starting to study at university, having chosen the path to take... but really, it was just the entrance. And what's behind is... even bigger. And even once you have chosen and came to the end of a path, you might have doubts whether it's been the right choice. Then again, there is people I know who just took the next available apprenticeship they could find, they don't earn "much much", but they can live and have lots of time for what they love, never had to take on debt for studying or anything... I guess the real issue is being greedy. I realized too late.

thinking about it doesn't work. One of the best way to know what you will do in the future is look at what you do now, play games? read manga? watch anime and yt a lot? do those things and make something out of it, but never go to college without a game plan!

Its okay, I don't have a specific career I really wanted to do I've already graduated years ago and just worked and quit while currently working, however I like to dream as I get into retirement I would like to have a tiny shop where I grab car parts from a junk yard just to build a car. Not something I want to do as a living but its definitely a dream.

get a trade you can be good at with your existing skills like physical strenght, good jine motor skills and good memory/good abilities with numbers
if you try university, just know the debt will be staggering and most of the times, university students never or rarely work their studies job and it rarely pay back the loans
with trades you have no debt, just go the trade most people CANNOT live without even with hard financial times

How do i get a trade

go to a trade school and look which is in hyper demand now or in the near future since most tradesmen are getting older and close to retirement

think something that's unique that people will always buy then look for investors to invest in your product then become an entrepeneur

It's one of those decisions you make too early and then live the rest of your life regretting it. I decided on a major, became an engineer, and now I've been unemployed for over 2 years ... I regret it ... It took a lot of time, money and effort all for nothing ...

That's exactly why I haven't pushed my 18 y/o son to go to college, or make any concrete plans yet. There's all kinds of vocations out there that don't include the traditional 4 year uni plan.
